About me
Originally from London, I made the Isle of Man my home in 2021. I now work from my home studio at the end of Douglas bay; enjoying sea views which inspire many of my abstract acrylic paintings. I also have a love for botanical drawing; when I’m not in my studio I like wandering along beaches and picking my way through the national glens spying all my favourite plants.
Writing Stuff
It has been a 2-year labour of love but the book is finally out! Available in bookshops across the island and direct from the publishers here: https://loaghtanbooks.com/product/blooming-marvellous-manx-wildflowers-a-botanical-journey/
Blooming Marvellous: Manx Wildflowers – a Botanical Journey is a collection of all the weird and wonderful stories about plants and the places they grow. I’ve always been one who loves the natural world and I hope to share a little bit of that with you through the book.

Art Stuff
I’m currently tied up with existing commissions, but I hope to get my online gallery up and running soon enough, and those online tutorials I’ve been promising forever!
You’ll find a mix of botanical work in coloured pencil (small and detailed), and some huge bold abstract acrylic paintings; I do whatever makes me happy at the time!
In-person tutorials
Currently taking a small break – writing books and painting commissions on top of a day job has been challenging and fun, but I was feeling a little like I was running on empty. So i’m taking a small break, and these will resume soon enough!
I hold drawing and painting tutorials at various venues in the Isle of Man – for a full list of current sessions and to book, can be found here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/rosiegreeningart
I also run private groups if you’d like to get a bunch of friends together in the comfort of your own home. All materials provided.
